PROFESSIONAL CHROME POLISH AND RUST REMOVER!
The Story Behind Quick Chrome
Quick Chrome wasn't born in a boardroom—it was born in a shop over the sound of a vintage engine and the frustration of an empty shelf.
Founders Andrew Henderson and Scott Durr have been friends and neighbors for years, sharing a deep-rooted obsession with classic steel. Andrew brings the professional edge as the owner and operator of Precision Automotive in Grinnell, Iowa, where he’s spent his career ensuring high-performance vehicles run as good as they look.
Scott is the quintessential enthusiast—the kind of guy who’s always under a hood, mentoring the next generation of gearheads, or working in his home shop. Recently, Scott’s passion for "rescuing" classics took a legendary turn when he won a 1978 Ford F100 restored by the team at Vice Grip Garage (VGG).
Why Quick Chrome?
While Scott was maintaining his newly-acquired F100 and Andrew was finishing customer builds, they noticed a glaring problem: the industry-standard chrome polish they had relied on for years—the legendary original Quick-Glo—had vanished from the market.
Tired of watery alternatives that didn't cut through Iowa road grime or light surface rust, they decided to take matters into their own hands. They spent months testing and perfecting a heavy-duty paste that delivered the "best-in-class" results they demanded for their own rigs.
The result is Quick Chrome. It’s a professional-grade formula created by two guys who know that a mirror finish isn't just about aesthetics—it’s about pride.
